Regency

The subtle elegance of the Regency mantle embodies the main elements of the rococo motifs first created by Louis XIV's royal designer Pierre Lapautre. In this typical Rococo decorative scheme, a series of long panels decorated with inventive carved motifs in low relief are arranged around the fireplace opening. The forms at the top of the panels consist of ribbons, blossoms and shells while the center panels are surrounded with flat moldings down the sides. The marble panel inserts are available in white, gray, black, green, and in salmon, as shown.
