clothes to give you that "made to measure" feeling. No alteration
job should be too small. Our staff is trained and experienced in garment
construction, including gown and custom design wear.

wedding party. Please call for a consultation at no charge. A
quote for alterations cannot be given without seeing you in your gown.
It is our philosophy that preparations for
your wedding should be a fun and positive experience. |

Meet
with our seamstress 2-3 months before the wedding, if possible. Be
certain you are able to listen to each other's ideas.

Your
wedding gown should not be altered by a family member or friend who
'sews a lot'. Be certain the seamstress you choose has
experience working on wedding gowns.

Undergarments
can be the most difficult part of your fitting. If you are
unsure of the style necessary for you, meet with your seamstress first
or buy several that are returnable. Built in cups may be
suitable for some small busted girls, but today's strapless dress
usually requires a bra. Remember, the bra is supposed to hold up
your breasts, not the dress. Petticoats and shoes are a must for
fittings. Again, large petticoats help support your gown--they
are not just to add fullness.

The
time to lose weight is NOT after you start your fittings. You
should expect to be charged an additional amount should your weight
fluctuate. Even a few pounds can make a difference on the custom
fit you are trying to achieve.

A
quote for alterations cannot be given without seeing the individual in
the gown. However, you should leave your first fitting with a
clear understanding of what services will cost you.

You
should expect your seamstress to be prepared for your appointments,
the work be completed as scheduled and your gown pressed and ready to
wear on the day you chose to pick it up.
