PRIMARY SCHOOL
More than 200 children attend the Lurie
Primary School, the only comprehensive bicultural and bilingual (Arabic and
Hebrew) primary school in Israel. Two thirds of the student population is
comprised of Arab and Jewish children from surrounding communities. Jewish
and Palestinian teachers each speak in their native languages to the
students. In addition to core curriculum subjects, students learn about
Jewish, Moslem, and Christian traditions and beliefs.
The state-of-the-art Golder-Goodwin Language Center
specializes in teaching all students Hebrew, Arabic, and English at their
individual levels.
DOUMIA
This white stucco domed structure with its
panoramic views of the Ayalon/Alsarar Valley is a sanctuary for prayer and
reflection, uniting all faiths.
GUEST FACILITIES
The Guest House offers 40 modern, private,
air-conditioned units in a single-story structure which overlooks the
Jerusalem hills and the coastal plain. A dining room with home-style
cuisine, plus a gourmet restaurant, meeting facilities, and a large swimming
pool welcome guests from around the world. To help visitors develop insight
into the quest for peace practiced in NS/WAS, the Guest House staff is able
to arrange lectures, films, art activities, cultural performances, and
in-depth study tours.

AUDITORIUM
Our recently completed auditorium has a
capacity of seating 300 people at round tables and 450 people in theater
rows. There is a portable stage as well as a sound and light system. It will
be used for meetings, dinners, lectures, etc
