activities will be sponsored through financial support from private individuals; corporate
donations; charitable foundations; and religious organizations through membership support. 100
percent of the funds and time will be devoted to all of the above activities. Specific
activities of The Middle East Peace Dialogue Network, Inc. working on a domestic level
include:
- Compilation of a database listing organizations, groups, institutes, and centers
(locally and internationally) interested in the promotion of peace and democracy in the
Middle East. This will be accomplished through establishment of various lines of
communication with persons and entities known to be interested or who have worked toward
this goal of peace in the Middle East.
- Initiate and maintain communication with these peace-promoting organizations to
obtain regular up-to-date information on educational and cultural events, such as guest
speakers, workshops, conferences and special programs related to resolution of Middle
Eastern conflict.
- Send regular press releases of ongoing activities of those persons and
organizations dedicated to this peace mission to the media for continued education and
awareness of the general public.
- Expand mailing lists for all organizations to utilize for dissemination of
informational updates and contribution solicitation.
- Plan, devise and distribute a regular newsletter with guest commentary, news of
current events involving or impacting Middle Eastern peace, solicitation of contributions
and calendar of upcoming events including programs of interest.
- Establish website with links to various other existing sites and resources
toward the goal of enhanced public awareness.
- Development and promotion through financial funding and hosting of educational
programs surrounding Middle East topics for children, teens and adults. For example, guest
lecturers, dialogue groups and cultural gatherings are an excellent means of informing the
public.
- Financial sponsorship of children, teens and adults at various educational
programs including lectures, group discussions, cultural gatherings and camps/retreats.
