MAX EDITORIALAlthough Max did not vote in the Election 2000, as dogs are not allowed to vote, he would like to share his non-partisan views with you. To begin with, Max believes that not matter who occupies the White House "it's business as usual!" Now consider these facts: Joe Sadler, the Democratic National Committee's legal counsel, has spent nearly a decade developing a strategy for the Democratic Party to steal an election and that Sadler wrote a magazine piece in 1990 that seems to have foreseen the Florida situation. Sadler wrote, in part, that "if you are behind, and there are reports of problems -- such as ...eligible voters being turned away --- which could affect the outcome, invite the press to investigate complaints." (Philadelphia Inquire, Friday, November 7, 2000) And that's exactly what happened in Florida, one little old lady complained that she didn't understand the ballot and voted for the wrong person. Fact: The butterfly ballot has been used in Florida for the past 3 elections. Fact: An 8th Grade school teacher in Bryn Mawr, NJ gave 76 Kinder garden through 8th Grade students a copy of the ballot and asked them to vote for Gore, 100% of the students got the answer right. Now that says something for those who in Florida who couldn't get it right. Fact: Dailey from Chicago goes to Florida and declares the butterfly ballot to be illegal, yet the butterfly ballot was used in Chicago. Fact: The Florida Supreme Court made law from the bench and thus violated the Separation of Powers Doctrine. Fact: If both parties are really so concerned that no one is disenfranchised and everyone's vote should be counted, then let's re-count every vote cast in every State and not just in Florida. Fact: The whole system is so corrupt that the American People should kick them all out on their _ _ _ ! MAX wonders how anyone can take the American Political system seriously, until testing procedures are required of the Legislature and Voters, so that they are guaranteed to understand who and what they are voting for. Check out the Political Bloopers to find out how smart our politicians really are! We welcome your feedback!
