EUROPLUS E TOUCH-FREE ELECTRONIC FAUCET®
GROHE enters the electronic faucet market with the introduction
of the new Europlus E. The sleek Europlus E touch-free faucet is engineered
using state-of-the-art battery and microelectronics technology yet built to
withstand the rigors of commercial installations. Though GROHE's Europlus E will
meet all the demands of the market -- ease of installation, ease of maintenance,
and vandal resistance -- it will appeal to aesthetic sensibilities as well when
design is a critical priority. But more important are the benefits of the
Europlus E -- sanitary touch-free operation, water savings, and energy savings.
GROHE's Europlus E features battery operated infrared electronic actuation
completely factory pre-set; no additional electrical hook-up or adjustment is
necessary. A 6-volt Lithium battery (included) has an estimated lifetime of 3.5
years (rated at 150 cycles/day) and can be changed easily from above the
counter. All electronic components are contained within the durable all-brass
faucet body and are completely accessible from above the counter as well.
Though competitively priced, GROHE maintains its repuation for solid quality
with Europlus E. Additional features include low-noise operation; a safety
shutdown circuit to resist vandalism; stainless steel flexible supplies for easy
installation; an extremely durable, easy-to-clean finishes (polished chrome
finish or Infinity Finish polished brass); and optional flow controls for added
water conservation.
GROHE's Europlus E is available with or without a temperature control lever. An
optional remote control accessory is also available for easier maintenance of
more extensive installations.
EURODISC SE®
Following its successful entrance into the electronic faucet
market last year, GROHE continues its growth in the commercial faucet arena with
the introduction of the new Eurodisc SE. Combining aesthetics, performance, and
technology, the Eurodisc SE utilizes state-of-the-art battery and
microelectronics technology in an electronically actuated self-closing faucet.
Departing from the philosophy that commercial faucets should look institutional,
GROHE's handsome Eurodisc SE appeals to design sensibilities yet is built to
withstand the rigors of commercial installations. But more important are the
benefits and technological advances of the Eurodisc SE over traditional
hydraulically controlled self-closing systems: extremely light actuation
pressure is an especially important consideration for people with physical
disabilities; constant water running time for water savings; and easy
installation and maintenance.
GROHE's Eurodisc SE features an adjustable running time of 2 to 60 seconds and
can be calibrated without tools or disassembly with a simple series of tap
commands on the faucet's cap. Unlike hydraulic systems, the electronic Eurodisc
SE allows the water flow to also be shut-off with a second tap of the cap for
even more water savings. A 6-volt Lithium battery (included) has an estimated
lifetime of 10 years (rated at 150 cycles/day) and can be changed easily from
above the counter. All electronic components are contained within the durable
all-brass faucet body and are completely accessible from above the counter as
well.
Eurodisc SE also features key vandal resistance components. Intentional locking
down of the cap will not lead to flooding because the SE includes an automatic
safety stop after 60 seconds of run time. Additionally, a metal switch shield
prevents damage to the electronic switch mechanism from purposeful pounding on
the cap. An optional rotation lock system is also available.
Though competitively priced, GROHE maintains its reputation for solid quality
with Eurodisc SE. Additional features include low-noise operation; stainless
steel flexible supplies for easy installation; an extremely durable,
easy-to-clean polished chrome finish; and optional flow controls for added water
conservation.
GROHE's Eurodisc SE is available with or without a temperature control lever.
CONTROPRESS®
GROHE continues its growth in the commercial faucet arena with
the introduction of the Contropress self-closing pillar tap. The budget-friendly
Contropress lives up to every aspect of GROHE's reputation for solid
construction and durable dependable performance, all in a distinctively European
design.
A mainstay of the commercial faucet market, the self-closing pillar tap has one
overriding requirement...it must be nearly bulletproof. The GROHE Contropress
was designed specifically to stand up to the effect of constant use and abuse to
its finish and construction, as well as on its functioning. Beyond solid brass
construction, the self-closing cartridge in the Contropress is extremely rugged
and accurate as well.
The Contropress self closing pillar tap is factory-set for a 7 second run time.
The cartridge is easily adjusted to 7, 15, or 30 seconds. | |
